Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Hookline and Hookline Studio, panels for Adobe After Effects. By starting a trial or subscription you agree to them.

Subscription and payment

Hookline and Hookline Studio are sold as monthly or yearly subscriptions. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record: they process the payment, handle taxes and issue receipts, and their terms apply to the purchase.

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required. If you cancel before day 7, you are not charged. After that, the subscription renews each period until you cancel in the customer portal (the link is in your receipt email). Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Your licence

• Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the panel while the subscription is active.
• The licence is per user and works on up to 2 computers.
• When the subscription ends, the panel locks.

What you may not do

• Resell, redistribute or share the panel or your licence key.
• Bypass or tamper with the licence check.

Ownership and copying

Hookline, Hookline Studio, their code, presets, sounds and designs belong to Kadra. Your subscription gives you a licence to use them, not ownership.

The extension is delivered compiled and protected. You may not copy, decompile, decrypt, reverse engineer, modify, repackage, resell, share or publish the extension, its presets or your licence key.

This doesn't stop you from installing it on your own computers as your licence allows, changing presets inside the panel, or saving and exporting your own looks and brand kits.

If you break these terms, including the rules above, your licence ends immediately, without a refund, and we may ask platforms to remove copies.

Your work

The videos and other outputs you make with Hookline are yours.

Presets may use or suggest fonts. You are responsible for having the right font licences for the fonts used in your projects.

No warranty

The panel is provided as is, as far as the law allows. We work to keep it reliable and compatible with After Effects, but we can't promise it will be free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost projects or lost income.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Serbia.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date.
